neocriticism, n. [Neo- + classicism.].
     The form of Neo-Kantianism developed by French idealists, following C. Renouvier. It rejects the noumena of Kant, restricting knowledge to phenomena as constituted by a priori categories.  [Webster 1913 Suppl.]
