     Incapable of being resolved; not separable into component parts.  [1913 Webster]
Irresolvable nebulæ (Astron.), nebulæ of a cloudlike appearance, which have not yet been resolved by the telescope into stars, and are often distant galaxies. See galaxy{2}.
