CIDE DICTIONARY

glycyrrhizinn. [Cf. F. glycyrrhizine. See Glycyrrhiza.].
     A glucoside found in licorice root (Glycyrrhiza), in monesia bark (Chrysophyllum), in the root of the walnut, etc., and extracted as a yellow, amorphous powder, of a bittersweet taste.
