fleamn. [F. flamme, OF. flieme, fr. LL. flevotomum, phlebotomum; cf. D. vlijm. See Phlebotomy.].
     A sharp instrument used for opening veins, lancing gums, etc.; a kind of lancet.  [1913 Webster]
