agamin. [F. agami, fr. the native name.].
     A South American bird (Psophia crepitans), allied to the cranes, and easily domesticated; -- called also the gold-breasted trumpeter. Its body is about the size of the pheasant. See Trumpeter.  [1913 Webster]
