CIDE DICTIONARY

Octostylea. [Octo- + Gr. a pillar: cf. F. octostyle.].
     Having eight columns in the front; -- said of a temple or portico. The Parthenon is octostyle, but most large Greek temples are hexastyle. See Hexastyle.  [1913 Webster]
