Meconin

CIDE DICTIONARY

Meconinn. [Cf. F. méconine.].
     A substance regarded as an anhydride of meconinic acid, existing in opium and extracted as a white crystalline substance. Also erroneously called meconina, meconia, etc., as though it were an alkaloid.  [1913 Webster]
