Anacharisn. [NL., fr. Gr. up + grace.].
     A fresh-water weed of the frog's-bit family (Hydrocharidaceæ), native to America. Transferred to England it became an obstruction to navigation. Called also waterweed and water thyme.  [1913 Webster]
